BeaneCounters is a boutique tax preparation and advisory firm, focused on the unique needs of young professionals, families with children, and families planning for children in the future.

When my wife and I started getting serious about our financial future, we were overwhelmed by the endless decisions and new terminology. I started BeaneCounters to help others avoid the stress and confusion we initially encountered.

Balancing work and family is challenging. For many careers, climbing to the next level means more time at work and less time at home. After a dozen years in Brand Management for big consumer goods companies—during which we welcomed our two incredible daughters—my priorities were clear, but my capacity to manage them became increasingly limited. Like many busy professionals, I started spending money to buy time: hiring help to walk the dog, maintain the yard, clean the house… and prepare the taxes.

I was lucky to work with a professional tax advisor who helped me manage our increasingly complex returns and align our tax strategies with our financial priorities. I want to do for you what he did for my family: deliver peace-of-mind for tax preparation and planning while allowing you to spend time with your family instead of with your tax forms.

That's why went back to school for a Masters in Accountancy. That's why I'm admitted to the IRS as an Enrolled Agent, licensed to prepare and file taxes in all 50 states, and why I’m pursuing my CPA license. That's why BeaneCounters exists.
